HE CONSOLIDATES HIS SELF-TAUGHT GRAPHIC DESIGN BACKGROUND AND HIS BACHELOR’S DEGREE IN VISUAL ARTS WITH THE CONVICTION THAT HE IS JUST ANOTHER EMPTY HEAD IN A MEANINGLESS TIMELINE. IN 2017, TAWFIQ TOOK ON AN EXPERIMENTAL POSTER PROJECT TO EXPLORE THE POSSIBILITIES OF GRAPHIC DESIGN AND ARABIC TYPOGRAPHY. EVERY NIGHT FOR THREE YEARS, HE CREATED A NEW DIGITAL POSTER, WHICH EVENTUALLY PROPELLED HIM TO ESTABLISH AN INDEPENDENT DIGITAL TYPE FOUNDRY FOCUSED ON DESIGNING AND DEVELOPING CONTEMPORARY DISPLAY TYPEFACES.
