Hey Porter!/Tawfiq Dawi is a multifaceted visual individual based in Amman. He consolidates his self-taught graphic design background and his bachelor’s degree in visual arts with the conviction that he is just another empty head in a meaningless timeline. In 2017, Tawfiq took on an experimental poster project to explore the possibilities of graphic design and Arabic typography. Every night for three years, he created 1,000 new digital posters/art projects, which eventually propelled him to establish an independent digital type foundry focused on designing and developing contemporary display typefaces.
